Title: New to the Board with my Old 854

I stumbled onto your site and I am impressed with my new mountain bike home. I was an avid rider in the early and mid 90’s when I bought a Pro-Flex 854. I hated red so I had a friend powder-coat it green and tweaked a few things here and there. In 1998 I blew out my new motocrossing and I did not ride a bicycle to this year. I bought some new elastomers had to cut them down to fit and made them work and started riding.
Well the bumpers or wrong and suck so I need to sort that out and then I‘ll ride it until it breaks  When it becomes less dirt worthy I’ll make it my street ride; it is the perfect NYC bike.

Don't hesitate and post some pics of that bike.

Where in NYC are you? I'm in the Bronx, but often go to other burroughs...

I live in Queens, a few blocks from Forest Park.

Looks like my bike  :-) but then in a difrent color
