Hey guys…it’s been a while since I was here. I got side tracked from my 856 with trek fuel…anyways I’m starting to build up the 856 again. I poked around the forum looking for plans for a rear disk brake adapter but I didn’t see anything. Maybe I made my search to specific too. Who knows
Anyways,
Does anyone have plans for a rear disc brake adapter for an 856 swing arm?
Thanks
Rick

This is the one I made,
you just need a good welder,
you could try RDI as they may be making Hammerhead adapters again for this model,

Kinda the same as Simon.
Made a cardboard model, cut it out of 3/8" aluminum on a bandsaw, and had it welded on. ($55! - total rip off.)
Here's a pic,
(It's called a "Better Rear Disc Adapter" because the last one was I did was... :-[)

Hiya Rick,
there are loads of rear disc adapter mods for most of the diff Proflex swingarms. I made several for my old 855 (adapter would be same for 856). Check out my gallery.
good luck
