I have a 1990 proflex totally redone new decals, paint, chain, cables, derailer wheels, and everything has been totally redone and looks like new. If anyone is interested I can email pictures of anything you want to see. I just spent $100.00 on paint and everything listed above open to offers. Dark metalic blue charcoal metalic forks. Brakes and derailers XT. Girvin flexstem, Atlanta area.

copied from previous post by kiwi(basically a duplicate)

will post pictures as soon as i figure out how....

Wow!

It's really brand new! It's in perfect condition.

Where did you get it?

Did you have one of those rare chances and you were able to buy a 15 year old but brand new bike?

I purchased the bike in 1993 from my brother. it's been kept inside since then and I have'nt been doing a whole lot of riding in the last few years. but 4 weeks ago I decided to totally strip the bike down and refinish everything, I glass beaded the rims polished everything that needed it and repainted the rest with Ditzler auto paint. I had Alex Lori make the new frame stickers and Easton provided the others.I had all new cables, chain, & rear derailer wheels put on it I wanted whoever buys the bike to get a like new bike. I even took the seat post out and glass beaded it and then took 60 micron sandpaper and put the original finish on the outside of the post for the original 2 tone finish.I just bought a 4 year old 9.8 Elite Trek and redoing it so I'm letting this one go.I have about $100.00 to $125.00 just in all the new parts and paint not including the labor of love doing it. I will let it go fo around $300.00 if anyone wants it. plus shipping.
