That was me. I've been waiting for one of those for months. Never seen one go for anywhere near that cheap - especially not a new one. Plus the size is pretty rare on the used market. The Buy it Now was too good to pass up. Thanks for the tip!

Sorry if anyone else wanted it too. As a consolation, I'll soon have either a Stratos Helix Pro or a Risse Astro 5 for sale. Can't decide which one to give up though. Hmmmm. The Stratos rides REALLY well but the Risse is adjustable for other people to use, which is often the only way I can get anyone to ride with me!  (i.e. let them borrow a bike).

The Risse is 8.25", but I think I'm going to sell the Stratos, which is 7.875". I'll miss the lockout (I'm a sucker for any type of "gadgets") and maybe the plush ride. Who knows, maybe I won't like the Swinger and decide not to keep it...

It will be a few weeks either way.

Hey all!

I thought i'd take a minute to post a link here. It's for a Canadian-based site called PinkBike. I have a link to their buy/Sell page for rear shocks. Right now there are 2 shocks with a 8.25" i2i. One is a Manitou Swinger 4-way air, the other is a 5th Element coil-over. As much as i'd love the Manitou I just don't have the money right now.

Wow,

That Swinger air 4 way is a rare find. I have seen the 3 way in 8.25, but never a 4 way.

I don't think he's measuring the eye-to-eye length. Looks more like the overall length. According to the pics with the ruler, it looks more like a 7.5" i2i...
