Hey guys..
In the history of Pro MTB racing... which bike maker won the most races? Is it Trek?
Wondering??

my money would be on either cannondale or specialized.

I think it may even be Tom Ritchey, Djernis and Friscknet won loads of race on his bikes before they went on to Proflex and Scott, not sure if I have spelt the riders names correct but I'm sure you all know who I mean, if not them it has to be specialized.

The name was Frischknecht called Frischi

Hard to answer: it will take a lot of googling I think. But like Colinv actually says: it's the rider that winns the races in the first place. So an other interresting question could be: does the rider choose the bikemaker that offers the best bike, or does he choose the bikemakr that offers the best facilities (and ofcourse money)?

Ha! Riders choose the maker who offers the most money. It only makes sense. However, in the past, it was common for racers to ride bikes from other manufacturers (i.e. not their sponsor) that were repainted with the sponsor's logo. Not sure if that's still done or not. If I were a racer, that's what I'd want to do, because the chances of getting to work for the maker of the "best" bike is pretty rare. Not to mention that whose bike is best differs from year to year...

I agree, a lot of riders who rode for Ribble cycles rode Rocky mountain Ti-bolt bikes painted as Ribble ones, I'm suprised John Tomac has not had a mention he won at most forms of racing, road,x country and downhill with Yeti and Raleigh
