Welcome to the club, Subaru!
Options depends on you imagination. Take a look through the galleries here and have your imagination broadened. You have options, it just depends on how bad you want it.
I've tried looking into an upgrade for my 5000 (just a frame) and I haven't come up with what I feel is a suitable solution yet. I don't like the option I tried.

Stratos Helix is an excellent shock for the Evo frame. I've got one on my 5000. Stock 8.25" i2i.
Fox Vanilla R is widely available in 7.875" i2i. That's what I have on my Disco Monkey. Handles way better than the stock Noleen even with the slightly shorter i2i. If your frame is a large, you can use Vanilla RC in 7.875 or 8.5 i2i.
Others have fitted 5th Elements, Manitous, even Fox Floats. Check the gallerys, you have plenty of options.

Hi! My frame is a 16in and so far, the safest choice is the direct bolt-on item from Risses racing. And those other shock that u guys recommend r suitable for the 5000 and later proflex model. Will my be able to use??

To the best of my knowledge, Stratos and Risse are the only two makers who make shocks that bolt directly on. Other makers make shocks that are "close enough" with some minor modifications. That may only mean customizing the bushing width, or it may mean slightly spreading the frame mount or grinding a bit of metal off the mount in order to get shock body clearance. As far as I know, none of those modifications (all of which have been made by members of this forum) have ever caused an equipment failure. The only thing to watch for is that some guys have said that shocks with "piggyback" reservoirs had tire clearance issues on small 5000 frames...
