Somebody might be interested in checking this out. Coloradocyclist.com has them on sale for $16 right now. I'd double check to make sure they're not the crummy ones, but the picture on the website shows the good kind (127 tpi). If anybody emails/calls them to check, let us know. The most obvious difference is that the lettering on the good ones is big and white, whereas the cheap OEM version has a colored flame logo on the side that is much smaller. Also the good ones are made in Japan vs Taiwan for the cheapos...
They may only have them in blue, but that's a purty blue tire... Can't beat that price for an awesome all around XC tire.

Never mind. I just talked to a friend who bought some, and they're not the good ones. Misleading advertising since the description doesn't say which they are, but the picture clearly shows the better aftermarket version (not the cheaper OEM). Doh! [smiley=dead.gif]
