Title: Proflex 855 vs. 856
Post by: Carbonman1 on February 18, 2005, 10:38:12 am
Hey, I was wondering what the real difference is between the 856 and 855 frames were.  What improvements were made to the 856?  I know that the strut on the 856 had the tapered shock end as opposed to the flush mount.  other than that, I can't seem to remeber the diff.  Better welds/ alloy?

I have a 955 world cup, the only differences I've been able to find between that and an 856 are
- Rear Strut
- Shiny alu finish instead of paint job
- Bottle holder mounts behind the seat post (only some frames)

Have never seen an 855 so I'm not sure about the differences between that and the 955 I have.

:-/ Have I missed anything really obvious as I've never seen and 856 in the flesh either [smiley=worry.gif]

Cheers,
Luke
