Title: Girvin vector fork inspiration
Post by: Simon on January 18, 2005, 04:51:16 am
During my lunch break I had a read of a Classic bike mag and came across these forks being refurbed, their from a Rudge TT circa (I'm guessing) around the 1920's, I know a lot of bikes from that era an beyond had linkage forks but these struck me as the closest match to a vector, thought this may a bit of intrest to fans of the linkage style fork,I don't think this fork was damped and by looking at it the spring could be a torsion bar (the transverse rod with the wheel on it) not sure though, just my opinion the artical only dealt with enammelling. ::) just noticed its got vertical dropouts as well [smiley=laughing.gif]
