Title: Noleen NR-4 for a 957 on e-bay
Post by: BiggerG on January 06, 2005, 05:54:34 pm
Hi there, I have just popped my spare shock a Noleen NR-4 for a 957 etc with spring and 2 bushes on e-bay. It's been little used and is in very good fully working condition. I have been using a Risse Terminator for some time now and had kept this as a spare. It's still an excellent shock and I was hard pushed to decide between them.

Can anyone tell me if a 957 shock will fit on a 955 frame. My frame has the x56 strut with the cone end.

I am not gonna answer that cos if i do we might end up bidding for it. I have always thought that x57 cone SHOULD be the same as the x56 one but i have never been able to confirm that. The risse site says that you should use the freedom plate adapter to mount a risse shock to a x56 but i have always wondered(i e mailed kevin risse but the never answered) why not use the specific x57 shock?.

we re to slow it went for 65 pounds NZ$175 ,AU$160 ouch..... :(

Far as I know my wife's 856 has the same cone end as my old K2 3000 (same as 957?)
