Hello,
I am new to this forum, but I have been here reading info from time to time.
Long story short. I won a K2 Oz bike on e-bay and UPS "delivered it" to someone that does not live in my home.
I live in an in-law (2 story home) and someone living upstairs "signed" for it. UPS did a poor job investigaging and it looks like i will only get about $150 back.
The driver was supposed to come and do a follow-up so I wanted to talk to the UPS driver to question if it was a man or a woman that he gave this huge package to. I contacted the police and they will have to dig in and find more info since UPS doesn't really help.
I learned my lesson...NEVER send important packages through UPS. Use US Postal Service because they have FEDERAL LAWS to protect you.

Sefer,
The problem might be that the seller under insured the bike.
Last year I had UPS reimberse me $300 for a box stolen off of my front porch. When I sell on eBay I always over insure. Just last month I had a item damaged and the USPS paid in full. The buyer actually made money on a minimally damaged item!
Go back to the seller for reimbursement if he under bought insurance.
