Title: What's it worth?
Post by: 93Cobra#2771 on November 30, 2004, 05:58:11 am
Proflex 755 WC, 18" frame, bought it new back in the day. Bike is in prime/excellent condition, all original down to the tires. No paint chips or anything, and I replaced the MCU's 3 years ago. Haven't been on it in prob. 2.5 years, and I'm kicking around the idea of selling it. Let me stress again, the bike is in like new condition. Any idea what I should ask for it?

Sorry if this is the wrong forum, buy I don't see a "classifieds" forum to post in.

Where do you live?

Used Proflexes, even in mint condition, don't usually sell for a ton of money. You might be better off selling it piece by piece, but then again, that's more hassle than it's worth to most people. For a bike that old, you'd be lucky to get more than $300. Just my opinion. Advertising it locally will probably get you a better price than advertising online, where buyers tend to be a little more savvy (but not all of them!)

Good luck!

I live in TN. Thanks for the feedback. I'll sell the bike as a whole if I do sell it, as it isn't worth the hassle for me to part it out...
