:o
it has occured to me, that my knowledge of things proflex/K2 is wanning. and my current riding style not to mention my current stable of bikes is SOOOO far away from anything relevent to what this site was designed to be....
i just dont think my posts really helping the hard core profelx owners anymore...in fact i cant even remeber the last time i actually had a genuine bit of info to post in regards to a older/current proflex/K2...
lately all i do is suggest new parts/bikes... but people can figure those options out themselves easily enuf...
so i think im gunna gracefully exit stage left and allow those who still ride proflex/K2 bikes to continue enjoying their rides unhindered by my presence...
after im gone all teh Noleen lovers can come outa the woodwork, i promise im not kidding.... :)
been a hoot posting here, adn i have fond memory's of riding my proflex bikes... in fact i'll treasure those days in my mindseye till the day im dead....
if K2 ever comes out with a "worthy" bike for my style of riding... maybe i'll be back... :(
till then....see you people around...
come visit me on NSMB.... [smiley=beer.gif]
lastly, i'd like to give the HUGEST thx to mr. Bob Girvin for building the best bikes ever...
i truely dont know if i would have ever got the "MTB-infection" as deep as i have it werent it for his fine rides.....

So long, but you're not really going far. Pop up and say hi every now and then. Been fun, Rich. Hey, I have a question for you.

Ian, If you think about it, the whole industry has morphed from "XC" to "all mountain". Personally, I've enjoyed your diatribes and good humor. I find your comments extremely interesting. In these uncertain and stressful times, it's nice to know that you can always come here for a bit of good spirited humor.

[smiley=coolfrown.gif] Sorry to see you go you have givin me some sound advice in the past and a honest opinion on parts and worthyness of upgrading vs. cost. I hope you will pop in to say hi once in a while. Kepp on riding! ;)

ifo ifo dont go........
whilst it is true that your current status in k2/proflex hardware is low i would say that your experience in modding your 4000 and your appetite for new stuff make your opinion worthwhile...and as dan says sometimes you make me laugh out loud...your call buddy ive said my peice.I still owe you some loot ...watch your im box

is this like a Michael Jordan "retirement" or a real one?
lets hope that K2 have something good in development, it is a shame to see a company that was the most progressive get left in the dirt. I love my Evo and have only had positive experiences with the K2 company so far.Although I never owned one, the older proflex bikes have to be some of the sweetest bikes ever produced.
Irrespective of your current ride IFO, your posts have been useful to a lot of u, so nuff respect, I might visit Whistler in a year or two so if you see someone on a Evo come hurtling past you on the A-line give me a shout! ;)

Ian, you always added salt to this board. [smiley=laughing.gif]. That is a good thing
