Title: I need a new NR4 for a 5500C
Post by: StoereVent on September 07, 2004, 07:14:51 pm
Hello everybody,

I want to replace my rear damper (NR4) and can't afford a fox float at thiis moment. I've considered a Risse, but I favor a fox. Until I can buy a fox, I would like to replace my NR4 with a newer one. Is there someone out there who has a NR4 that he (or she) want's to get rid of? I've got a spring for it myself, so just the damper will be ok. Please let me know, because the problem is getting bigger with every ride.

Thanks, Jeroen.

I have got one which I may sell it was taken off of my proflex 957 and is in excellent condition. I also have a risse terminator which may be for sale as I had an accident with my bike at the weekend both are in excellent condition but the risse may need a service soon. I was intending selling them together though so If anyone is interested including yourself please e-mail me and make me an offer. I have also contacted k2 to see if it's possible to get the frame repaired so if they can help then I would only be selling one of these shox.

You could probably get your Nr4 completly overhauled for the cost of a s/hand unit,
I do have a spare s/h nr4 and a new nr2 one of which is on my son's Oz the other a backup (being used at the mo due to the risse being o/hauled) but in the event of selling one (I'm not) I'd want around the cost of an o/haul hence my suggestion.
