Firing with the autotrigger....
«

Does anyone else constantly fire with the pump instead of the trigger even when taking single shots? When i first got my GF phantom 3 years ago i tried playing with it as you normally would, but i always would forget wether or not i had cocked it. For the past couple years i found that i will shoot 95% of my shots with the autotrigger even if i eliminate the player with one shot.
Just felt like ranting.

Chef Dave, as well all know, shoots every shot with Autotrigger. You should ask him about technique, style, and tricks of the trade. I would say he could not PLAY paintball were it not for the invention of the Auto Trigger.

Ive just came to realize that you can tell by the weight of the trigger. The first 25% of the triggerpull will be considerably heavier when its cocked.

When in doubt - shoot the bunker - then load the marker.

Get used to "shoot and pump" instead of "pump and shoot".
Whenever I pull the trigger, I automatically pump the gun instantly. I believe you can get used to this pretty quick and you'll always be ready for your next shot.

That's the only way to play those air bags.
Auto trigger with fixed bayonet.

I've actually drilled a hole through my trigger and pinned it back so I don't even have to worry about it anymore. My finger just got too tired holding it back.
Now I can AT to my heart's content and my finger never fatigues.
