Does this forum host work really really slow for any one else?  It takes forever for things to load...  Curious if it's just me.

I've been wondering if we should start up a PhOG Phund for board support (and if we get a surplus we can always raffle something off).

Like in any healthy relationship you have to start things a bit slower than you'd like to go. Just remember the greater good at hand and things should move smoothly. Always wear protection.

Actually, the forum is quite speedy for me. No delay at all, yet...

I havent noticed. But then again, I'm running off an AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual Core Processor at 3800+ W/close to 900MB of available memory left on my disk drive.
Sure I would support our home here if things did hit rock bottom. Wink

I haven't noticed much of a difference in speed. There have been days when it was slow, but everything else was too, so I blame it on my ISP or Internet traffic in general.

Then again, I'm still using dial-up so "slow" is a very relative term to me. Smiley

I have had some other weird things happen. I sometimes get a window asking me if I want to save/open/or cancel a file when posting. I just cancel and I get sent back to the Phorum sub section instead of into the thread, but the post will get added.

Another strange happening is with the spell check function. It turns parts of the page into "mouse-overs" and will turn the spell check off. But again this is only once in a while and not every time.

^^^ Me and RAZRBAKK both get the same prompt to save a file.
