Hey, I have been using the CCI ring detents and having a horrible time with double loading and poor paint matches. Are the ASP detents worth the money? Also, I have noticed that the bore size on the stock barrels is HUGE compared to all the field paint in Northern Minnesota, I was thinking about going with an aftermarket any suggestions?

Thanks!

It's not just Northern Minnesota, that's the way paint is everywhere. There used to be a time when paint actually fit nicely in a Phantom barrel. In fact, there was a time when you could buy paint that was too big! Those days are long gone.

It's going to be tough to find an aftermarket barrel that will work with all the paint. The ASP system is about the only way that you can deal with the variety, and .670's range of paint that is made today.

Cool thanks man- I used to play with my phantom all the time then started playing X-ball when I got into college so I was playing with Egos and Shockers and stuff with eyes so the switch back has been pretty ugly! Just trying to get all my stuff working at a level where I do not have to worry if my marker is going to fire a blank and wind up getting me laid into.
