I have a used CCI, and it was working fine until the last event I went to. I would adjust my velocity to the usual 270-280, and after a match or two, come back to find the velocity dropped down to 180-190. What is wrong?

It could be that the CO2 is chilling. If you shoot too fast the CO2 will get cold, pressure drops and so does your velocity. Don't know from your post what you're using, 12grams, CO2 tank, or HPA.

It could be that your TCP is moving (backing out) during the game putting less pressure on the main spring and thus lower velocity.

It doesn't sound like it's a paint issue if these conditions are consistent, and you can bring the velocity back up without a lot of variation in velocity between shots at the chrono.

Sorry, I use a 48/3000 HPA tank, and I believe it's the TCP. Is there any way to fix it myself or Do I have to buy a new part?

You need a nylon set screw. It will cost more to mail the item than you will pay for it!

First take the TPC out of the bolt. Turn the new nylon set screw that goes into the side of the bolt until it is slightly exposed on the inside of the bolt. Then put the TPC back in. The threads on the TPC will cut into the exposed part of the set screw causing enough friction to keep it in place after you set it. Don't try to tighten the set screw into the TPC. Cut the TPC into the tip of the set screw.

A few turns of teflon plumbers tape around the TPC will probably work too. You should not have to adjust the velocity much at all using HPA.
