picatinny rail

Hey guys,
I was wondering how I could mount a picatinny rail to a right feed body ?
I know theres a few bodies around on mcarter I saw that have them machined on,
But I was wondering If I could do it myself
Not really after an amazing Job,
But I've got my Sa17 magazine, and Im wondering how I should go about doing it
Im thinking I could use a stock class body, and use the screw for where the normal feed goes to screw the rail on the top and use some glue to secure it ?
and then simply open up the side of the body with tools for the balls to feed into ?
Not really too fussed if it would look a mess underneath ?
But good on top... ?
What are your thoughts
Thanks alot,
Clifford

So you want to mount this forward on the barrel side and not behind the feed hole?
If so you might be able to use clamps like are used on conventional firearms for attaching sights etc to the barrel and or shotgun feed tubes. Browse around some of those suppliers like ATI and you might find something that you could adapt.

No, sorry I might not have explained myself,
It sits in the same direction like the standard feed tube, facing backwards,

Any reason you wouldn't want to use the rail mounting screw holes on top of the valve body? That's how Punisher's rails mount:

The rail then points forward off the back of the gun.

Have a look on your valve body - there should be a pair of small tapped holes on the top, which is how CCI sight rails attach to a Phantom.

No, doesn't go that far, but I could machine one that does (I have the Picatinny rail stock).

Ok thanks alot,
So basically I would need to be able to use this on a right feed stock class body, so that way the rails would go past the feed ?
Would it be easier to talk via PM, before we start talking prices ?
