Sorry...cold, with snow and windy. Not good weather to be testing 50 cents a piece paintballs. Guess I'll wait a couple of days.

You will be impressed with you accuracy and efficacy. One thing, Chrono with a regular paintball, then with the first strike. You will notice a little difference.

I have found that the cheapest gun to use is an old traccer with the feed removed and cock it with one of the pump arm bolts.I tried it with a phantom body and after alot of grinding and cutting I picked up a traccer for 30 shipped and it worked out great. The barrel is the perfect size I am running a 13 cbu tank in a bottom line set up,very consitant!!(No pics yet I am putting a scope on it) .I will say at 300 ft I was hitting a 3 by 4 foot metal target 5 out of 10 shots. When I am through with testing scopr I will get the data up .

I know that someone has dremeled a body to accept them one at a time wiht the feedblock off.

I don't have any on hand.  Could you lay a few of them tight side by side next to each other on a board/ruler/something and see if when you lift one end up to simulate a right feed angle they will roll?  If so than my feed idea would work just a matter of doing the modifications needed.

Isn't the right hand feed threaded into the body??With some heat and a vice it should come off.The s.c. hole needs to be modded to accept them I tried.

Got a couple of nice days to try a few out. For what they cost I'm not very impressed. I've had regular paintballs that shot just as nice as these.

I took the SC feed block off, and they load pretty easily with the bolt back through the breech. Point the barrel down, and they dropped in place. They do shoot straight (no curve balls), but as for the increase in range, an Apex barrel adapter, set with just a small amount of backspin beats them hands down in my opinion.

I think that they tend to fly sideways for about 15 - 20 yards before the fins kick in too. Might have to see if I can get some digital video or stills to be sure, but they looked to be unstable at close range and that would throw them off target by a 2-3 inches. Very small paint splat on the targets as well. I think there must be about hlaf the amount of paint, and the ones I have are a white fill. Bright yellow would be better.

I won't be buying any more of these any time soon. I would rather sort out a few good regular paintballs, have a higher rate of fire and use the Apex from some higher ground during a game.

I hadn't heard anyone mention that about short range accuracy.  Interesting.

Yeah I agree that they are way over priced.

Would there be any interest in Roundhead bodies with a larger feed cutout suitable for hand-feeding First Strike rounds?  I'm thinking a slot on the left of the body (90 degrees from top).
