I had an idea this morning.
why couldn't the SC and offset SC Phantom bodies be modified to accept FS round (seen this done with a dremel before) and then use the screw hole for mounting a D shaped feedneck and "10rnd tube" to hold extra shots?
I know FS rounds aren't everyones cup of tea but it seems to be a growing thing and does have some advantages.

First Srike? I'm going to order some today. A spring fed clip would be fun?

Would have to have something that would separate the rounds as the kinda stack on each other.

Pardon the ignorance, but what are FS rounds?

If they were stacked side by side?
This is exactly what I was imagining sorry for the confusion there. Aardvark - The most noteable story that I can provide with them is last year at the West Point game I brought Norwich to I was shooting down over a "valley" and had a guy to me left that I was occasionally lobbing paint at just to keep him honest. both of us knew that we were out of range. I saw him messing with something after shaking his head at me. Next thing I know I feel something hit my thigh. This little plastic fin was sitting in my lap with a glob of white paint next to it. I have my own reservations and dislikes about them, but they do have potential if they can make them more biodegradable and they make guns that are cabable of shooting these and regular paint chrono with both.

Either there is a miss communication on my end or I really need to look at how the current mags work.
For the record I'm not talking about stacking them like this DDDDD but rather like this
D D D D D

I've been thinking about this for a while... What about having them sideways down the tube on a SC setup and then having a sort of way to rotate them to drop into the breach. Something like how a FN P90 Mag is setup. Same concept I'd think.

You would almost need a type of "nub" to stop and separate for the drop. I think they are best used on a bolt action type. I know HB has done a bolt action phantom already, would just gave to make a slide cover so that it covers the hole when in firing position.

Got the First Strike in the mail today.
These things are strange. Not just a paintball with fins on it. It's more like half a paintball with fins, and seems to be formed and filled all in one stroked. They also act like one of those punching bags with sand in the bottom. If you set one on the table it will tend to stand upsidedown, fins up.
I think that they would be a real pain to get to feed right in the Phantom because of the breech and bolt design. Not impossible, but not something that a dremel jockey like me would want to try.

One thing I really like about these is the way that they fit a stock CCI barrel. They fit like a paintball should, tight. They actually "seat" in the barrel. Slide in right up to the last 1/8th inch and then you have to push it in the rest of the way. Can't wait to test a few of them.
