Hey everyone.  Damn it's been awhile since I've been on here.

I just dusted off all my paintball stuff, including my old urban camo phantom that I've had forever.

My SC body's screw which holds the sc feed on has been stripped out.  Not the inside of the ... nut?    But where it attaches to the body of the phantom itself.

Is there any way to fix this?   I mainly use the SC body because I can put on either the SC feed or I have a bolt on vert feed so I can use a hopper when I want.

Anyone repair them or is there a good way I can do it myself?

Thanks all.  Hope to see some old friendly faces on here.

So the threads in the helicoil stripped, or the threads in the body which the helicoil goes into?

The threads that the helicoil go into are stripped so the helicoil can't hold and stay in place.  Couldn't remember the name of it.

Have you called local machine shops? I'm not experienced in any way in that field, but I can't see it costing a lot to get it fixed.

Best I can recommend is to epoxy the thread insert back into place, and if desired, peen the edges of the body over the thread insert to help retain it.
