question about after market

was wondering i currently got a stock class phantom love it alot but wanted to get a feed neck for it to use the 50round hopper on it for open class also as i am playing against many semi's and elctro's so what im wondering is other then buying the feedneck body from phantom does anyone make a seperate feed neck that will fit on a stock class phantom ? i thought is seen someone with them before but cant find it again so any help will be great thanks.

There are a couple options out there for use with the stock class body.  KPCS has one, you can also use a spyder feedneck and only use one screw to hold it in place.  As long as you are using a pocket hopper it will be fine with the single screw.  IIRC pnp or pmp had one as well.

i took a look at the spyder ones only problem was it was just off by a little bit will it make a diffrence ? or will i need to dremel it out just the little bit on the neck to make it work properly ?

the lapco grey ghost direct feed (bolt on ) will work.

thanks for the advice and they look great but are also 20 dollars more then just buying the feed neck body for it so maybe ill just go for haveing the extra body kit so i can switch it out at will

accualy got another question i seen the detent rings that go behind the barrel are they worth haveing for a phantom to hold the balls in place or no i was thinking about getting it and a trigger shoe ?

Detent rings are a must. True fax.

cool i guess i know what ill be ordering next then detent rings and trigger shoe with a feed neck body kit .. maybe either the 45 grip or the m-16 grip block to mount a stock ..

Either that or spring for the HaveBlue detent mod.  From what I hear it works wonders that even detent rings have trouble competing with.  At the price of the rings though, it also doesn't hurt to run both...

As far as the feed neck goes, i would definitely go with the LAPCO Direct Feed or something like it, it may be more expensive, but having used both. The LAPCO will be more secure as well as more stable. Using the Body from CCI would make you need to buy those cheap Plastic feed necks, which if you are hard in your play as I am you will realize that having to buy those things over and over again is a pain in the posterior, Also if you buy the CCI Body, you would have to change the body itself if you decided that you want to play stock for a game, instead of just unscrewing a single screw and screwing the horizontal feed back on. Oh, and one other small point on using the 50 rd hopper, it's small and light but do you really want to add another two inches of height to that by using the plastic feed.

Oh also, as a brief side note, I found the Adapter that I have been using. You can find it here....

The thing about it is, it's just the adapter, you can buy a smartparts ION feed neck for it. this one seems to be cheaper especially if you have an adapter already.
