Hey man, any development on these?

lots of fine tuning on measurements....
i want the head of the screw to be countersunk... but am debating on the height of the mount too

A centimeter for good measure(PUN!:D)would probably be good. You could maybe make it like a hill and taper it, but then the screw wouldn't be completely counter sunk.

well i have made a few of these for local guys

i have NOT done a mass produced run yet

i want to, but the shop is crazyyyy busy

this summer i will be working 4 10hr days, and be able to do JUST pb machining on fridays

this should give me an opportunity to get these out the door

mon, if you make it purdy for da people they will pay! the mod is hot but...a clean look more snug like it belongs not like a bolt on. people say "WTF" cause it so clean! love your stuff my pumpin brutha!

i agree.
the plan has been to make a mount that has a radius so it blends into the body

the screw will also be countersunk so that it will no show

it will be clean and purdy:)

i can whip out the rough chamfered edged mount on the manual lathe, but the pretty radius version will be done on an OmniTurn Lathe

today i was making a lensebaby.... (google it)
and at the same time i had the print for these mounts so i could keep fine tuning em Tongue

gotta love bein related to the boss!

soo i just finished up a mount for killed cookie

took this with my phone real quick

the chapstick is a size comparison


the feedneck is flush with the mount, the screw is countersunk, and again the production model will have a radius instead of chamfer
