I have been looking at picking up and Airow gun for some time and I finally have the cash together but I can't find many opinions on them online. Do any of you have any experiance with them and what are your thoughts in general.

I like the fact that they are extremely quiet. I can't count how many time I have been in a really nice spot and gave myself away within 2 or 3 shots. That has alway annoyed me since getting to a good spot on a scenario field can take a long time and then I'm found within a few minuets. The airow gun seams to be my answer to this but I have never actually handled one and I have only seen one in person once and only for a second.

the biggest drawback with the Airow gun is the size of them, you are constantly getting snagged by branches.

Yea I kinda expected that I have done a little bow hunting here and there so I'm used to moving through brush with a bow. The added barrel and air chamber could be fun but I'm sure I'll get used to that relatively quickly.

One of the guys in my Paintball Club has one that he breaks out from time to time.  I will someone had gotten a pic of him shooting at a tank with it at the West Point game we all went too.  I've shot his they are neat.  The biggest drawback as mentioned is the size of it (Sinec you are here and already understand the added difficulty to low ROF) Nice thing is NEVER running out of air, ever.

I would say if it's something you are interested in then go for it.

I've never bin intrested in one due to the size, the room u need to let the bow flex, the weight out in front of the bow after u release the string and not having a spare bow to strap the gun too... Not wanting to get my hunting bow coverd in dirt and paint

I got it in the mail tonight.

Its smaller than I expected and a good deal lighter than I expected. Total weight with 15 balls is just over 9 pounds. Its definitely not a good main marker but I think it will fit the role I have planned for it very nicely. Ill probably strap my TPX to my back whenever I run with this bow for emergency use only. From dry firing it I can tell that it will be very quiet. Ill probably post a sound comparison with a few of my other markers in the spring.

My team knows Im good at being sneaky and they often send me after the enemy generals or to just cause general havoc behind enemy lines and I have ofter been frustrated by the sound of my maker giving away my position in that type of situation. Until I actually get a chance to play with it I cant really do a wright up but so far Im impressed with my Airow Gun.

Well I suppose its finally time I posted my results for the Airow gun. I played a full day 14 games total and fired between 150-200 shots through my Airow gun and I had an absolute blast. Its accurate, and quiet enough that I got 3-6 shots off before anyone knew what was happening and zeroed in on me. I was able to snap shoot both standing and kneeling pretty well for my first time using a bow for paintball. With the accuracy and the proper stance I was able to suppress people with the capability to fire 15bps without issue even though I could only do .3bps.

The Airow gun gave me that rush I used to get when I first started playing pump as a means to better myself as a player. Now I don't think I would walk on to a rec-field with a semi ever again unless someone really deserved to get schooled.

It's definitely not for everyone but I'm confident it will be one of my personal favorite markers this season. The only problem I had was with roll outs and that should be solved with there forthcoming barrel kit.

What kind of bow did you have it on?  The Diamond Razors Edge?  Do you know what the poundage was set at?

Yea I used the Diamond Razors Edge that came with the kit and used a 60 pound draw. I may be able to lessen that some what with better paint. I was using some tiny paint in a rather large barrel.
