Hey guys, I was thinking the other day about making a phantom multi-tool. Something that contained all the necessary tools for maintaining your phantom and be small enough to go on a key chain or something you could have clipped to your gearbag, etc.  My question to you is what should it have?

Here's a picture of an AR-15 multi-tool...

considering i don't go to the field without allen keys(people always need them), i don't need  a multi tool for those.....and since i have still yet to adjust my TPC, and have lost my rod years ago..........i don't need that.

the hardline wrench is an ok idea, but like my allen keys.....i have a 6" adjustable wrench that goes to the field with me........ leaving but one tool i need

but...if you wanted to tackle one, let's say you could take a short adjustable, add a flat head screw driver on there somewhere for the TPC (doesn't need to be LONG, people can remove the barrel) and the 2 main allens; 3/8, 5/32.  maybe the little one for the thumb screws.

i know it's ugly, and the chaintool isn't needed.......but it might be a start; if the patents could be worked around

Interesting idea but it may be overkill.

Velocity adjuster would be a little hard to incorporate into a tool and besides that you need 3-4 sizes of allen keys.  You really shouldn't need to adjust the hardline under normal circumstances

So, as Simon said...a set of allen keys, the velocity adjuster rod, and maybe a small adjustable wrench pretty much covers what you need.

A multi tool specific for the gun may not be too cost effective IMHO.

True that Dave of the Chef variety. I mean even if you are a noob, you may have a set of allen wrenches laying around. An open end wrench (if applicable) and a flat blade screwdriver is all you need. Wow I never realized Phantoms were that simple, yet a blast to shoot Grin

"Double feeds" are a result of operator error.  Practice your technique and this should go away. Wink
