I said yes to some of the questions... but i'd rather play.
That's how I feel. Being general is a lousy job IMO. Half your group might be seasoned scenario players and teams. The rest might not know why they're there. You spend most of your time in the CP, or haggling over points and props, etc. You see very little if any field time. You're the first one in the trailer in the morning, and the last one in the sack at nigh. And if your side loses, you get blamed for it. No thanks.
Being a captain with 5 - 10 experienced, imaginative, players with good equipment (one or two with night vision for example) and headsets......now that's fun.
Sneaking behind enemy lines at night, getting through their perimeter, putting your foot inside the CP and confiscating all their props and money..............PRICELESS!
