Had some free time yesterday and this idea suddenly came to me...

I used one of my old mossy oak camo gloves, bought from Wal-Mart.  They were pretty stretchy and that helped a lot in contouring to the shape of the hopper.  Not sure how much it'll help, but anything to mask that big black target sticking out the side of the marker, right?  Grin

I don't get it. You're not talking about trying to blend in a hit, are you? J/k Smiley

Yeah I know. But if you camo some parts on your marker you can blend into the background too.

Sweet camo job apoc.   Is the winchester hopper the best one for the phantom? I mean one of the best.

Thanks, warpath.  I like the Winchester because it can more or less slip right onto the gravity feed body, without using an elbow, and it's tight enough to not require a ring clamp.  But I haven't had any experience with either the Sportshot or that new APP 150 rounder, so maybe someone else can give their input on those.

I also made some camo covers for my stickfeed PVC elbows, using the fingers of the gloves Wink

Dude thats cool. I was going to use camo tape on mine, having used it on other loaders, but it's hard to remove. You know, like when I want to show off my loader.

The Winchester hoppers are good.  Be aware though, that they can jam a little from time to time.  Sanding down the lip inside at the top of the neck portion can alleviate this to some extent.  My gripe with the Winchester is that if they take a good solid hit, very often it will break the paint inside, and that's never fun.  The old brass eagle ones that reload with 10 round tubes I have found to be the best in terms of feed rate, and capacity.  The brass eagle ones with a flip top are great for a lower profile.  They feed fine, and the ones I've had have been durable.  Some people get fragile ones.  Seems kinda hit or miss.  I haven't messed much with the higher capacity "small" loaders, such as PB Virus and Sportshot.

Do you have an image of the old brass eagle hopper? So I'll know what to look for.
