I prefer 280 myself. I find it a good combination of speed, accuracy, and efficiency with an 11" barrel. I can get around 40 shots at 280, unless I shoot a lot of rapid shots and then will just change 12'rs soon after 30 shots.

I'm having problems getting my phantome to shoot more then 20 good shots. I've tried differentspring set ups, and I have all the springs, stock cold, hot and HPA. I also bought a new back valve. however I do run a gas through stock that threads into the back.
I moded the stock with a 12 gram charger, think bullpup. I'v tried it with the 12ie direct but same problem. I had it set to about 275, but it keeps spiking 295 then drops down. I've checked all the o rings, cup seal the works, tried all the spring combinations including th TPC adjustments. Well I'll kepp working on it and see if I can get up to 40 shots.
