Post some "funny" quotes players have said to you when using a pump.



One time i shot a player twice (at close range) with the AT.  After the game he comes up to me and starts telling me that i need to learn how to control my TRIGGER.  I wish i would have tolld him it was the handle not the trigger that shot him

I always get the, are you a sniper comments from newbs that think pumps shoot farther or are more accurate

To put this in context I was close to 50 when this happened.......

A kid about 13 - 14 came up to me while we were walking off of the field and said very politely......"you should try a semi some time." I said, "Oh I have a bunch of those at home, never really had much use for one."

Dead silence all the way back to the staging area!  :

I would of loved to see the confused look on the kids face when you said that.
Today I was running a couple of games at my local field and while every one was out playing I was tinkering with my phantom. Couple of young guys about 12-15 came up to buy paint, when they saw my phantom they asked what it was and what the handle on it was for. So i explained that it was a pump and instead of shooting 15-20 bps I shoot about 2 or 3. They just looked at me and asked "why, are you serious, no really you actually use this" I just laughed

Last month a kid about 12 asked me what the handle was for, i explained that it needed to be pumped before each shot.

His response "that would annoy me".

Last weekend there was another kid using a Phantom.  He went around telling ppl that it could shoot farther because it was more accurate.  When someone asked why it was more accurate he went into some closed bolt BS and because it was more simplistic than other markers.
I didnt feel like arguing so i just stood there trying not to laugh.

I was working a Table for the Universities paintball club at an Open house this weekend and some highschool senior who had already made a point of telling us that he was a "sponcered player" decided to share with me that he had "an SL68 at home, that was the first pump paintball gun"
