i made my own dump pouch out of an old pair of track pants. the bottom of the legs already had a drawstring in it, so i just cut about 10 inches off of it and sewed up the bottom. i made i because i wanted something similar to a pbmafia dump pouch but it didnt want to spend 20 bucks on it, when a pair of 7 dollar track pants will get you 2 dump pouches(one for your friend) if your handy with a needle. will post pics later

I play with a standard stock-class harness and have always used a military BDU light jacket (even in 100+ deg F scenario games) specifically to drop my tubes into the larger cargo pocket on it. The used CO2 cartridges slip back into a harness far more quickly and easily than the tubes, so it's only tubes that stay in the pocket, which can hold up to about 20 tubes horizontally. In a scenario game, this is incredibly useful. In a few rounds of speedball, this is still pretty useful, even though I might not look as "agg," if that term is still used.
I would definitely recommend at least some sort of dump pouch, simply for the time it saves from not having to fiddle around with trying to fit a tube into a specific elastic loop halfway around my body while tucked in a strange position under a 2' bunker.

You want the tubes to lay down or stay vertical?

Ed you shouldn't need to carry any paint since you're so good with that knife of yours.

In Scenario play I use a standard shotgun shell drop bag for my empties, I wear it directly in the front. It has also served as "protection" of a very valuable area in those up close and personal night time games if you guess what I am talking about.

All of this talk of magnets made me think of a gift I got. It's called the magnogrip. It's a velcro wristband that has 3 rigid panels with 2 circular neodymium magnets each. It's designed to hold tools like nuts, bits, screwdrivers, etc. when both of your hands are full. So, I went and found it and stuck some 12ies to it. It holds them very well, only 3 but for what I think I'd use them for I think it works. On my right wrist, I can unscrew my bucket changer and then tilt it up against the magnogrip so the 12ie starts to fall out, and it is caught in the magnetic field. Since the bucket is aluminum it is unaffected. The 12ie falls right onto the band, nice and secure. Then I can go grab a fresh one from my leg harness. This could be useful for putting the spent 12ies in the heat of battle, when you don't want to drop them but it's too hard to slip them back in to your harness. Then when you have a chance, you can put them elsewhere.
It's $15, so not really worth it to me, but I don't play stock class much.

That's pretty cool. Never seen one of those before. Plus think of all the health benefits from magnetizing your hemoglobin!

I agree. What I would like to have in a pouch or pocket, is a way to carry 12 grams without them clanging around when you run.
To have a magnetic pad inside of the pouch might just be the solution.
For you creative tinkerers out there here's a link to a place that carries a real nice selection of magnets that you could sow into a pouch or pocket.

Pay attention to their warnings about some of these magnets. They aren't kidding when they say they are powerful or dangerous. I have customers once in a while that want secret compartments built into their cabinets. I make keys using some of these smaller magnets that will trip the latch and open the panel through 2" of solid maple!

Yeah, I have known about UN's magnets for a while, some of those super-ultra-mega strong magnets look very scary. Anyway, it would be cool to pick some up and sew them into pockets in a jersey or harness. For example, I own a PB mafia leg harness. It's great, except the 12ies can fall out occasionally. You could buy some of the 1/2" dia 1/16" thick N45 magnets (12pack for $8) and sew them under the velcro to secure the 12ies under the elastic loops. You could also attach them to the underside of a goggle strap, for example, over the ears to be able to carry 12ies on your head! If I used 12 grams more I'd buy a pack and mess around with them.
