I was wondering if (like the title states) anyone uses a dump pouch while playing?

I have a PB Mafia drop leg rig, but while playing I always have trouble putting the tubes back in the rig or grabbing empty tubes by accident. Plus I hate throwing spent 12grams on the ground. So I was kicking around the idea of a dump pouch to allow me to seperate empty tubes and hold spent 12s.

I put all my empty tubes in the cargo pockets of my pants, seems to work well for me, I also have started toying with a cigar pouch style holder (the one APP puts out) on my belt to drop them into.

Sadly, I just drop mine on the ground during games.  But I always go back in after the game and pick up any tubes/12ies I've dropped.

My only issue with that, is that I play woodsball most of the time and trying to remember what tree I was behind when I dropped stuff is a little tricky. But I have some supplies at home; I think I will try to make one this evening before I drop any cash on something I don't like.

I absolutely never drop twelvies or tubes on the ground, even if it means leaving myself vulnerable for a few more seconds.  I appreciate all that field owners do for us players, and don't want to litter (granted, I don't pick up other people's trash on the field, so I guess I'm only half-hearted about the endeavor).

I'll stick empties back in my wrist holder, or shove them in a pocket.  Only think that bugs me about dumping them in a pocket is they can jangle around - not like I'm a stealth ninja in the first place, but why give your opponent an advantage?  I'm wondering if it would be good to sew a line of rare earth magnets behind a piece of fabric on pants or pack.  Drop the twelve and slap it on your leg or pack - the magnets will make them stick together and not jangle.

I use a climbing chalk bag as a dump when I remember it. It is rare for me to go through more then 2 tubes so they usually get stuffed back under the harness.

Last year I thought about making a sporran just for keeping empties.  I'll have to find someone to make me one for SPE this next year.

I've got the Large PBmafia dump pouch.  Using Speed caps seems to severly limit the amount you can shove it the pouch effectivly.  I still wouldn't think about hitting the field without it though.

Zero, you have any of the digi camo left from your kilt? I could whip something together for you.

Put the empties of 10 rounds back in my thigh holder. I load from the front and keep 2 empty spaces for the dead soldiers. 12s go in my pocket.

I think I'd do one up in black canvas Maxx.  Magnet clasp, big but not too big.  I'll draw up what I was think'n about.  But more or less a rock climbers chalk bag, just a little smaller, with a flap on top.

Naah.  the dump pouch gets in the way of the 6 pack of Shiner Bock I keep strapped to my back in place of 140 round pods.

Sorry for the slight necro, but I don't play without one. I've got a Maxpedition medium-sized dump pouch that I got on ebay for a song. It's got a nice big belt loop so I can slide the belt of my joyride pack through it. Love it. I'd never play without it.
