Hey folks, just like the title says: anyone ever bought a marker/parts/etc for the explicit reason to sell it?  I've bought markers that were either broken, or undervalued and fixed/cleaned/resold them, but I always try to sell to a different market then I bought from.

Quite often, I'll buy a marker that comes with masks or tanks or what not, keep what I want and sell the rest.

I have done this a few times, mainly for people that I know want or need something specific and then if it comes along I snag it for them. If there are extras then I sell them off.

Yes

200 + 007's now in 8 years mostly because I was looking for specific models or conditions. the biggest lot I bought was 30 at one time because of this, I have my own inside sales rep at Nelson.

40 PMI1's in 3 years most just fell into my lap

several dozen snipers rescues from autococking or drilling for ecockers.

Most were found in unusual ways that a player may not come across, so I pass on the deals to the new buyers.

I've done it but more with taking in a trade.  One person was very offended after I priced out resale value on his phantom that it wasn't worth $350 parted out.  Some people don't get the concept that you can't buy a Dye Izon sight for over $50 and expect to sell it for roughly the same.

Yup, got a good deal on a Carter Buzzard, turned around and made about a $200 profit.

yeah, wanted a second tac8, but found a good priced dual tac8 deal and sold the third pistol off.
also came across a superstocker for a good price, but wasn't the exact setup i wanted, but thought i should at least hold one once before i ever committed to having one custom built

$30 Craigslist PTP Sleeper... tried her out, almost wanted to keep her... but too broke, and she's a little heavy for my liking. She's pending over on MCB, after I gave a good cleaning and timing.

I had bought a phantom for my cousin, he had to have it. Little did I know he changed his mind 2 days before the ebay auction ended. Planned on selling it here but just didn't have the heart. Bought two cockers awhile back, turned them into snipers with the intention of only selling them, one year and 2 or 3 cases of paint later I got them out of my hands :Smiley I forgot whether it was that no one was going for them or i just didn't post a bst...
