Ive seen a couple phantoms on here with a stabilizer being fed by a 12 gram. I was wondering how that works out by means of efficiency as well as actual regulation. I live in southern arizona, it was 96 and sunny, almost no humidity. The guage on my phantom was pegged past 1200 in the staging area. After a few pre game shots I got it down to 1k, but would really like to reg it down a bit. Advice?

The problem with adding any type of regulation or stabilizer onto your 12 gram is your efficiency will tank unless you do some major adjustments to your set up.  IIRC Splattttt had his set up that way but he modified it to run around 450psi.  That required him to modify the TPC as well.

Any expansion of the gas ruins efficiency it takes one 12g to fill a stab.

LP is hype the valve is designed for HP and HP only

I would just find a regulator that you can open up to 850 psi or so.  That will solve your hot weather problems and allow you to keep the operating pressure the same.

However, you may want to look into running a 3.5oz.
